My husband proposed to me about a year ago. We had been dating for 7 years (highschool sweethearts). While in higschool we took a trip to France with our school and one of the places we went to is a little place called Chamonix. Chamonix is a little town in the Alps. He took me back this little town as a COMPLETE surprise! I had no idea where we were going until we arrived in France and even then I didn't think we were going to Chamonix. Then a few days later we took several trains and arrived in Chamonix. We stayed there for a few days and the last night we were there. Albert took me to the mountain we sled down in highschool (the place he knew that he loved me). And proposed in the snow! The most amazing engagement ... and awesome ring (not to mention).
